The Oregon Children's Choir and Youth Chorale provides numerous ways for interested persons to get involved with the outstanding young persons who participate in the choirs. The following opportunities are currently available:
Scholarship a Singer
Financially underwrite a singer in one of the choirs. Financial assistance in any amount to be used to help with individual tuition is greatly appreciated. While the choir has received tuition grants specifically for this purpose in the past, none have been made available for the 2006-07 performance year to date.
Sponsor a Rehearsal
OCCYC almost takes over the building at Christ Episcopal Church each Tuesday afternoon. From 4 until 9pm the sounds of singing ring throughout the Sanctuary, Canterbury Chapel, the Undercroft, Cummins Hall - anywhere there is a little space! Financial assistance with rent and operating costs of the choir is always appreciated.
