The 2005 Spring Concert
The 2005 Spring Concert took place on May 15th at the Church of the Resurrection in Tualatin, Oregon. All three choirs performed brilliantly, and a surround-sound DVD was created based on the recordings of that day.
Choir III sang a number of memorable selections. Two of them are available here.
The first selection, "Kyrie," was composed by contemporary steel drum artist Glenn McClure. Although Glenn lives back East, we were fortunate to obtain the services of Randy Larson, Amy McKean, and Gordon Rencher for accompaniment.
"Kyrie" was followed by "You Raise Me Up," a selection that left few dry eyes in the audience. Our thanks to all performers for both of these remarkable pieces.
Piano accompaniment was by Mr. Ray McKean.
